Service Description

Be part of a unique and relaxing class exploring drawing still life. This class will be led by Marianna, an illustrator and avid drawer. We'll start with quick and dynamic exercises, drawing diverse items and injecting our own energy into them. We'll gradually build up to a loosely themed collaborative set, with the opportunity of exploring different shapes and angles in a leisurely and relaxed way. A curated music playlist will be playing in the background to help us loosen up and get into the zone. By the end you should have plenty of new drawings depicting the essence of subjects and their spatial relationship with each other. You will also have honed your skills in observation and composition. In some sessions we may also explore incorporating a human model in interaction with our still life, taking our drawings one step further No matter if you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, this class welcomes and accommodates all levels! The session will be mostly untutored, but some support will be available should anyone need it. Please bring your sketchbook and your materials of choice (just no oil paints, bottled inks or anything too messy please). Some paper and materials will be available at a charge of 20p each. Every other Tuesday: 6:30 - 8:30 PM (with a break in the middle) Location: Burgess Room, Whittington Park Community Association, Yerbury Road, London N19 4RS.
