Service Description

Whether you already love to write or are completely new to creative writing, everyone is welcome. No previous writing experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and imagination! This creative writing course gives you the opportunity to experiment with turning memories, experiences and ideas into writing. Each week, there will be creative prompts and guided writing activities to help you explore new ideas and develop your writing. There will also be time to work on your own projects if you wish, all within a welcoming and supportive group. Writing materials and refreshments will be provided. TERM 1 - LIFE WRITING WHEN: 10:30am–12pm, Thursdays, 10 September – 15 October 2026 WHERE: The Lounge, Whittington Park Community Centre, N19 4RS FREE with an optional £3 donation Whittington Park Creative Writers will continue throughout the year, with each six-week course exploring a different form of creative writing: (Dates subject to change.) Winter – Poetry: 7 January – 11 February Spring – Short Fiction: 15 April – 20 May We ask that you sign up for the full course and are able to attend at least four of the six sessions.
