A Cosy Christmas Extravaganza in Islington 🎄

Enjoy one of the warmest Islington Christmas events at Whittington Park Community Centre, featuring two festive performances and a cosy lunch for the 55+ in between, creating a friendly space for neighbours to come together. Everyone is invited for the music events, you can join just one or enjoy the whole afternoon.

✨ Whittington Winter Carols

All welcome - 12PM

The afternoon will begin with a beautiful performance from Electric Voice Theatre’s Acapella Quartet. Their Winter Carols programme blends traditional favourites with a treasure trove of winter songs by female composers. Expect rich harmonies, a welcoming atmosphere, and lots of sing-a-long magic to start the festive season on a high note.

🍽 A Cosy Lunch for the over 55's - 1PM

After the carols, gather for a hot lunch in our café. Available for both members and non-members via this booking link.

🎶 The Christmas Royal Albert Hall Songbook. All Welcome - 2PM

Festivities continue with a special performance from Albert’s Band, presenting highlights from the Christmas edition of the Royal Albert Hall Songbook. This 45-minute concert features much-loved festive songs and carols, alongside fascinating stories about how the Royal Albert Hall has celebrated Christmas over the years. Expect everything from tales of the world’s largest Christmas pudding to the surprising origins of the Christmas tree tradition.
