WPCA is looking for a delivery volunteer in Islington to help deliver lunches to the 55 and over Social Club members who cannot get to the centre. The role takes less than an hour and runs on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 12:45pm.

Our 55+ Social Club is a welcoming senior social club in Islington, offering free activities, conversation, creativity, gentle fitness and community connection at Whittington Park Community Centre.

The 55+ Lunch Club at Whittington Park Community Centre offers affordable, home-cooked meals and a friendly community for Islington’s over-55s. Enjoy lunch with others in our café or opt for free local delivery if you prefer to dine at home. All are welcome—connect, eat well, and stay active!

Explore poetry, life writing, flash fiction, and nature writing. Participants will create a body of work and have the opportunity to submit pieces for a risograph printed anthology. Every two weeks, we will focus on a new style of writing.
