Good news, our community garden has had a much-needed facelift! We've replaced the old rotting wooden beds with brand-new planters, and now it's time to bring the space back to life, with your help.

Whether you’re a seasoned grower or a total beginner, we’d love to have you join us. Just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to enjoy some fresh air and muddy hands! We provide all the tools you’ll need. Our garden is fully accessible, with waist-height planters, ground-level beds, and a wheelchair-accessible area, so everyone can get involved, no matter your mobility or level of gardening know-how.
Every third Tuesday of the month.
11am to 12.30pm
Whittington Park Community Centre, N19 4RS.
We grow fresh fruit and veg in the garden, which go straight into the delicious meals served at our Over 55s Lunch Club three days a week. Your efforts will directly support this fantastic service and help the garden bloom for the whole community. Our garden expert, Poppy, will be on hand each week to guide volunteers, share tips, and keep things running smoothly.
After the session, stick around for a cuppa—free tea, coffee and biscuits are available for all volunteers. If you’d like to stay for lunch, you're welcome to join our Social Club meal from Tues-Thurs, 1-2pm. It’s just £4 for a two-course lunch. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can make sure there’s enough food for everyone.
To join us, just email admin@whittingtonpca.org.uk to let us know you’re coming.
Let’s get growing—together!
