The Art Laboratory - Discover Creativity and Community.

Are you looking for a welcoming space to explore your creativity, learn new skills, and meet like-minded people? Join us at The Art Laboratory, a free weekly art hub where everyone is welcome, no experience needed and no pressure to commit. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to reconnect with your artistic side, you’ll find all the materials, art books, and inspiration you need here. We also provide free snacks and refreshments!

WHEN: Every Friday, 1:30 - 3.30pm. (Starting 20th June)

WHERE: The Lounge, Whittington Park Community Centre, Islington, N19 4RS.

COST: FREE - £3 donation optional.

Our friendly sessions offer more than just art-making. You’ll have opportunities to join day trips to exhibitions, museums, and other cultural events, opening doors to new experiences and connections. We especially welcome adults who might feel isolated or want to make new friends. We also want to encourage mental health improvement among local adults.

There are 30 sessions planned across the year, with occasional breaks (we’ll let you know in advance). Drop in anytime, or become a regular, it’s completely up to you!
